Dr. Stephen Kania is a professor in the Department of Biomedical and Diagnostic Sciences in the College of Veterinary Medicine. His research examines the transfer of resistance between different populations of bacteria and explores regional differences in Staphylococcus, a group of bacteria commonly exhibiting antibiotic resistance.
